  • The Jonesboro 10K Relay will be timed by Stearns Race Timing, LLC. 
  • 2.5 hour time limit (beginning at 9 am). 
  • Limited to the first 50 teams per category.

  • If registering a team online, the team captain must register first and will be charged the full price of the team. The team captain will be provided a link for other team members to register.
  • A fee is charged by racesonline.com when you register online. The fee is charged on the total amount not just the registration fee. 
  • Online registration will close at 11:59 PM CST April 25, 2012 or when the race has reached capacity. 
  • Entrants who register on-line will receive an auto-generated email confirming their entry was received. This email has specific information about packet pick up and other details needed to claim the race packet. 
  • Race Day Registration on race day is from 5:00am - 5:45am.
  • Packet pickup will be April 27th from 1:00pm - 7:00pm at Fitness Boot Camp Unlimited, 3402 Willow Road.  
  • Race Day packet pick-up will be available from 5:00am-5:30am at the same location.
  • Mailed registrations must be POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN April 10, 2012.

WHAT IS THE 10K RELAY?

Teams of 4 individuals representing corporations, schools, churches, civic groups, friends or families can form a team for the Jonesboro 10K Relay. Your team can run, walk or do a combination. Each member of the team completes his/her segment of the 6.2-mile 10K course, and then hands the timing device to the next team member at a set relay exchange. 

Segments are as follows:

Every participant will run the same distance and the same route.

Exchange zones are set up like a finish line with post race refreshments and medal presentation at the end of each leg. Cash prizes will be awarded at approximately 12:30pm.

RELAY PARTICIPANT & FINISHER PREMIUMS
Each team member will receive: 
  • Commemorative participant shirt (size not guaranteed after 04/15/2012) 
  • Plentiful course support and aid stations

Each team member finisher:

  • Finisher's medal
  • Finish Line Refreshments

COURSE INFORMATION
  • Traffic is controlled for 5 hours (beginning at 6 am). Later finishers will be supported until the finish.  

TIMING

The 2012 Jonesboro Marathon Relay and 10K Relay races will be electronically timed by Stearns Race Timing, LLC. 

  • A $30 replacement fee will be charged for all lost or unreturned timing chips. Volunteers will be at the finish line to collect all timing chips. 
  • No chip. No time. No exceptions. 

AWARDS

Unless indicated otherwise, top three teams in each division will be recognized. All relay awards are based on timing system time - aka chip time (the actual time elapsed between an athlete reaching the starting line and the finish line). All times will be available on the website www.ridgerider.org .
